Iraq's Marshes are Drying Out

(Source: Al Jazeera) Intense drought has left 70% of Iraq's marshlands dry. Not only is the plant life dying, but as water disappears, the remaining water becomes increasingly salty, killing off Buffalo and other animals who once thrived there.
